Privacy

AI Front Door is run by Modern Mustard Seed LLC (“we”), Kalispell, Montana. This policy covers frontdoor.modernmustardseed.com, the connector endpoints under it, and the console.

People who ask about a business through an AI assistant

  • Read tools (about, services, service_area_check, hours_and_availability, faq) store no personal information. We count each call per business, per tool and per day. Server logs record the tool name, the business, the time taken and whether it succeeded, never the question, a name or a phone number.
  • request_booking and request_quote store what the person agreed to share with that one business: name, phone, optional email and ZIP code, what they need, a preferred time, and the time of the request. Only that business, the agency that manages it, and Modern Mustard Seed staff who run the service can see it.
  • We send that request to the business by email (and by text message when the owner turned that on and it is enabled). We never contact the person, never sell the data, and never use it for advertising.
  • The AI assistant you use (such as Claude or ChatGPT) has its own privacy policy for your conversation.

Business owners and agencies

  • The business profile is what the owner approves to be public. Drafts and the intake form stay private until approved.
  • For the website import we fetch the public pages of the website address given to us, once, to draft the profile. We store the draft, not the pages.
  • Agency staff sign in with an email and a password they set; we keep only a one-way hash of the password.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and the subscription status, never card numbers.

Service providers

Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages, when enabled) and Stripe (payments) process data for us under their own terms.

Retention and deletion

Requests are kept while the business uses AI Front Door and deleted with the business. A business owner or agency can ask us to export or delete a profile and its requests at any time by writing to sarah@modernmustardseed.com; we do it within 30 days. A person who sent a request can ask the same, and we will delete it.
